City of Alamo to Host Drainage Project Ribbon Cutting
Nearly $1M investment strengthens flood control in partnership with PSJA ISD & GLO
ALAMO, TEXAS | SEP 12, 2025
The City of Alamo will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the Duranta Avenue and 13th Street Drainage Improvements Project, a nearly $1 million investment aimed at reducing flooding risks and improving long-term infrastructure resilience for the community.
This project was made possible through funding from the Texas General Land Office (GLO), in partnership with the City of Alamo. In addition, PSJA ISD played a key role in collaboration with the City by providing land for a new retention pond, further strengthening the drainage system and protecting surrounding neighborhoods and schools from flood impacts.
