Watermelon Festival & BBQ Cook Off
ATTENTION:
We want to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and support during this unexpected situation. 
The decision to reschedule the Watermelon Festival was not made simply because of mud conditions. The severe storm caused major damage to critical event infrastructure, including loss of electricity and significant damage to the stage due to the strong winds and heavy rain. After assessing the situation, safety had to come first.
However, we did not want to disappoint our community, and we are excited to announce that the celebration is coming back even bigger on July 2, 2026 as part of Freedom Bash! 
We’re also excited to welcome additional performers, including Grupo Solido, to an incredible lineup alongside La Mafia, David Lee Garza, David Olivarez, and South Texas Homies.
If you purchased VIP tables or tickets, your purchase will still be honored for the rescheduled event. More information regarding ticket and table redemption will be shared soon.

To ensure a safe and smooth entry for everyone:
Personal bags/purses must be smaller than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ Clear bags are encouraged for faster entry
NO coolers, backpacks, luggage, duffel bags, or messenger/laptop bags allowed
All items are subject to search
The Watermelon Festival is almost here! Help us keep the festival fun, safe, and moving!
Take a look at our festival and parking maps so you know exactly where everything is before you arrive, from the main stage, food vendors, carnival, and VIP areas, to restrooms, entrances, and more.
Parking made easy: Multiple parking areas will be available, including designated VIP and accessible parking.
Trolley service will run from PSJA Memorial parking to the festival entrance, making it quick and convenient to get in and out.
