Community Notice: Statewide Emergency Alert Test

On Thursday, April 2, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, residents in Alamo may receive multiple test alerts on their phones and through local warning systems as part of a planned statewide emergency preparedness drill led by the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM).
🔊 As part of the test, the air raid siren will sound five (5) times.
This is only a planned test designed to ensure our emergency systems are functioning properly when they are needed most.
✅ No action is required.
We simply want our residents to be informed and aware in case they receive alerts during this time.
Routine testing helps strengthen emergency preparedness and ensures the City of Alamo stays ready to respond during emergencies.
