Mosquito Season Is Here!

The City of Alamo is committed to helping protect our community by providing mosquito control services during the times when spraying is most effective.

🕓 Beginning at 4:00 AM and continuing throughout the day in various areas across the city.

Our Public Works crews will be working throughout Alamo to help reduce mosquito populations and improve comfort for residents during peak mosquito season.

If you see mosquito spraying taking place, here are a few helpful tips:

✔️ Avoid following closely behind spray vehicles.
✔️ Consider bringing pets indoors while spraying is occurring in your area.
✔️ Close windows and doors if you prefer to limit outdoor air entering your home during treatment.
✔️ Help reduce mosquito breeding by emptying standing water from buckets, flower pots, bird baths, tires, gutters, and other containers around your property.
