03 Jun Ribbon Cutting Fire Station #2 Remodel & Fire Engine Push-In Ceremony
Join the City of Alamo and the Alamo Fire Department as we celebrate the completion of the Fire Station #2 Renovations and welcome a new fire engine with a traditional Fire Engine Push-In Ceremony.
This event represents an investment in public safety, emergency response, and the future of our community. The newly renovated station and expanded resources will help ensure our firefighters have the tools and facilities they need to continue serving and protecting the residents of Alamo.
The Fire Engine Push-In Ceremony is a long-standing fire service tradition dating back to the days of horse-drawn fire equipment, when firefighters would physically push the engine back into the station after returning from a call. Today, this tradition symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter in service to the community.
