A shift in weather is on the way.
After weeks of extreme heat, our area is expected to see a noticeable change this week, with cooler temperatures, increased humidity, and several days of rain and thunderstorms ahead.
While there’s no need for alarm, it’s a good time to take simple steps to stay prepared.
The City of Alamo is offering sandbag distribution for residents who may need them as a precaution.
📍 Pick up your sandbags at City Hall and fill them at designated locations throughout the city.
🛻 Seniors (60+) and residents with disabilities may request a voucher at City Hall, our Public Works team will assist with loading.
📦 Limits:
🏠 5 bags per household
🏢 2 bags per business door
