The City of Alamo is saddened by the passing of our honorary Police Officer Abigail Arias. This young lady became an Alamo Police Officer/Explorer Advisor, Badge #306 on July 8, 2019. Since that time, she became a huge part of our community and an inspiration to us all. On behalf of Mayor Diana Martinez, the Alamo City Commission, administration, staff, and the Alamo Police Department, we extend our sincerest condolences to Abigail’s family, Chief Raymond Garivey & his family and the Freeport Police Department. Thank you for letting Abigail’s light shine in Alamo. She will forever be in our hearts and forever part of our community. Rest in eternal peace Abigail, Alamo Police Department will take it from here.
