On behalf of the entire Alamo Board of Commissioners and the City Alamo we would like to congratulate the Alamo PONY 6U All-Star Baseball team, Alamo Tennis team, and Alamo Track team for their hard work and recent accomplishments! Under the direction and leadership of head coach Luis Magaña and assistant coaches Juan Ortega, Jose Villareal, and Jorge Perez the Alamo PONY 6U All-Star Baseball team had a successful season capturing 1st place in their Mid-Season tournament, 1st place in their invitational one tournament, and more! The Alamo Tennis team and Alamo Track team recently competed at the statewide competition TAAF Games of Texas in Brownsville. Together the two teams brought home medals in the 18U Tennis Boys Singles division , 18U Tennis Girls Singles division, 18U Boys Pole Vault division, and more! We also want to recognize the hard work done by Coach Zepeda with the Alamo Tennis team and Coach Martinez with the Alamo Track team in getting the athletes ready for competition. We want to thank all teams for being great representations of Alamo! Congratulations and thank you for making our city proud!

¡En nombre de toda la Comision de la Ciudad de Alamo y de la Ciudad de Alamo, nos gustaría felicitar al equipo de béisbol All-Star PONY 6U de Alamo, al equipo de tenis de Alamo y al equipo de atletismo de Alamo por su arduo trabajo y logros recientes!
