City of Alamo Wastewater Treatment Groundbreaking

The City of Alamo is constructing a new mechanical wastewater treatment plant and you are invited to break ground to begin construction. The City secured $11,250,000 from the Texas Water Development Board to build a 2.5 MGD mechanical wastewater treatment plant.


City Hall Lobby Re-Opening

On Tuesday, September 8th, Library, Museum and City Hall lobby will re-open to the public. As per city orders, face masks and social distancing will be required to enter buildings.


City offices closed – Labor Day holiday

City offices will be closed Monday, September 7th, for the Labor Day holiday. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, September 8th at 8 am.

Scheduled spraying will continue until mosquito season is over in November. Please be advised that, although the city was sprayed for mosquitos, there will be new ones emerging and the battle will continue.
