On behalf of the entire Alamo Board of Commissioners and the City Alamo we would like to congratulate tennis athlete J Perez Almaguer for his hard work and recent accomplishments! J Perez Almaguer was recently recognized as the TAAF City of Alamo Male Athlete of the Year 2023 as well as the TAAF Region 2 Male Athlete of the Year 2023! His tennis skills on the courts have put him in contention to be recognized state wide as the best male athlete of the year 2023 by TAAF! Alamo Parks and Recreation Director Sandra Chavez, PSJA Memorial ECHS Principal Dr. Raquel Garcia, and PSJA Memorial Tennis Coach Zepeda presented J with special plaques honoring his recognitions.
