National First Responders Day commemorates the heroic acts of the men and women who are there first on the scene of an emergency. On June 7, 2019, a resolution passed in the U. S. Senate designating October 28 as National First Responders Day.
In observance of this designation, Mayor Diana Martinez, the Alamo City Commission and administration, would like to extend our GREATEST Gratitude to our Alamo Police and Fire Department staff for working diligently to keep our community safe and secure.
