The City of Alamo Parks & Recreation Department summer program youth and coaches traveled to Texas A&M College Station to compete in the TAAF Games of Texas event on July 24th-July 29th. This year, 116 youth participated in summer track & field, with 44 participants advancing to Games of Texas. 36 youth participated in summer tennis, with 21 advancing to Games of Texas. Alamo is PROUD to recognize the 2019 Alamo Athletes. They earned 6 Gold medals, 7 Silver medals and 9 Bronze medals. On behalf of the Alamo City Commission, administration and staff: we would like to extend a sincere congratulations to all the athletes and their coaches for being GREAT representatives for our City of Alamo.
