Thank You Alamo, For Helping Keep Alamo Clean

On Saturday, April 27, the City of Alamo participated in the "Road to Recycling", Regional Tire Collection Event. 520 tires (486 small tires and 34 big rig tires were collected). Thanks to everyone who participated and helped in keeping Alamo clean.

Water Service Interruption

Due to a water line connection being done on Lopez Drive and Alamo Road, water service may be interrupted today, Thursday, April 25, from 2:00pm-5:00pm for area in red. If you have any questions please call the City Hall at 787-0006 or Public Works at 787-8321. Thank you.


City Offices Closed

Due to the Easter holiday, City offices will be closed Friday, April 19th. Regular business hours will resume Monday, April 22, at 8:00 am. Have a safe and happy Easter from the City of Alamo.


South Texas Health System Girls Night Out

The City of Alamo is a proud partner of South Texas Health System and is inviting all Alamo women to come out and join this great event. All proceeds are used to help breast cancer patients and survivors!


Municipal Swimming Pool Opens Mid May Weekend

City of Alamo Municipal Swimming Pool open 3rd weekend in May until 4th weekend in August. Swimming lesson and pool rental will begin in June. Call City Hall for pool rental days available.

Road To Recycling – Free Tire Recycling Event

City of Alamo Recycling will be participating and holding a tire collection event on Saturday, April 27 from 8am- 12pm. Open to Alamo residents only (utility or DL) 8 tires per resident, and 4 over sized or tractor tires will be accepted. For more information and other locations, see flyer.

The Alamo Police Department is having a BBQ benefit for Trooper Moises Sanchez on April 27th from 11am-2pm at the Alamo Police Dept.
